Neural algorithms and representations of flexible behaviour
d algorithms. We will collaborate with experimentalists to test model and theory predictions. Lastly, we will use the understanding gained from neuroscience tasks to build bridges between natural and artificial intelligence. Building such an understanding will offer deep insights into the neural mechanisms of cognition, how and when it dysfunctions, and allow us to interpret modern AI systems that have an increasing impact on humanity.
