Reported AI-Generated Video Call Impersonation of Cryptocurrency Analyst Leads to Alleged Malware Installation and Account Theft
Cryptocurrency analyst Mai Fujimoto reported losing access to her X, Telegram, and MetaMask accounts through a video call with a purported deepfake impersonating a trusted contact.
