Navigational AI assistant for Virtual worlds Immersion NAVI is a pioneering project advancing Generative AI (GenAI) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies to enable high-performance and hyper-personalised immersive experiences in Virtual Worlds (VW). In this context, NAVI introduces a new generation of smart, people-centred and accessible 3D digital assistants powered by GenAI. NAVI will drive innovation across the following four pillars: i) Multimodal and personalised interactions in VW, including sign language support; ii) High-performance and safe GenAI at the edge; iii) Explainable AI (XAI) and behavioural Decision Support Systems; and iv) Expressive and culturally sensitive 3D avatars.
