Sorbonne University for a New Deal on Artificial Intelligence The European approach to artificial intelligence (AI) will build a resilient Europe for the Digital Decade by fostering both excellence in AI and trustworthy AI. This perspective invites us to ask the following critical questions: How can we ensure the development of research that is centered on humans, is in line with the social, cultural, medical, climatic and sustainability issues that are becoming urgent? How to sustain the competitivity of Europe? What are the skills needed for tomorrow’s leading researchers in AI?
