Virtual Integration for Sustainable and Innovative Observation of Urban Air Quality

NAIR integrates advanced monitoring technologies (low-cost sensors, remote sensing, drones, citizen science, laboratory analytics) harmonized into interoperable data platforms (WP2) as well as AI and machine learning models for real-time mapping, source apportionment, and health impact assessment (WP3). Urban demo case studies in four European cities will be performed deploying digital twins and decision-support systems for operational validation (WP4). IMPACT: Communication, dissemination and exploitation in the short and long term (WP5) will ensure implementation of innovative governance models for decision-making processes, societal engagement and innovation for environmental monitoring.
