Upholding Workers' RIGHTS: Pro-Active Enforcement Through New Data and Predictive Tools
ding legal information to workers affects workers' awareness of violations and intentions to report them; (4) identifying drivers of firm compliance and worker complaint behaviors; and (5) developing machine learning models to predict non-compliance risk in France and Germany for enforcement targeting. Standing at the intersection of law, economics, public policy, and computational sciences, RIGHTS will provide the European labor inspectorates with new methods to target establishments for inspection based on the predicted risk of labor rights violations. RIGHTS will advance scientific knowledge about labor standards compliance and contribute to the modernization of European enforcement practices, and is therefore aligned with the priorities in the European Pillar of Social Rights.
